# Warda — releases Privacy-first DNS filter for home and small business networks. This repository holds the published versions of Warda; the boxes update from it. **Latest version: [v0.7.11](https://gitea.tips-of-mine.com/warda-dns/releases/releases/tag/v0.7.11)** (2026-10-04) ## Which file to take | To install Warda on | File | |---|---| | A Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 (new card) | `warda_0.7.11_raspberrypi-arm64.img.xz`, written with Raspberry Pi Imager | | Debian, Ubuntu or Raspberry Pi OS, 64-bit PC | `warda_0.7.11_amd64.deb` | | Debian, Ubuntu or Raspberry Pi OS, 64-bit ARM | `warda_0.7.11_arm64.deb` | | Another Linux, 64-bit PC | `warda_0.7.11_linux_amd64.tar.gz` | | Another Linux, 64-bit ARM | `warda_0.7.11_linux_arm64.tar.gz` | Raspberry Pi Imager 2 can also take `warda.rpi-imager-manifest`, which lets it set the Wi-Fi, the user and SSH before writing the card. ``` sudo apt install ./warda_0.7.11_amd64.deb ``` A box already installed takes its updates from here (at night when the automatic updates are on, or with **Update now** in its interface): nothing to download by hand. ## Check the files `SHA256SUMS` lists the checksum of every file, and `SHA256SUMS.sig` is its Ed25519 signature by the release key of Warda: ``` sha256sum --check --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS openssl pkeyutl -verify -pubin -inkey warda-release.pub -rawin -in SHA256SUMS -sigfile SHA256SUMS.sig ``` `warda-release.pub` (the same key is built into Warda, which installs only the versions it signed): ``` -----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY----- MCowBQYDK2VwAyEAnDKR0w4ktuxZVIezyPwGx8EMLfZhgf21R5P4efLjMXY= -----END PUBLIC KEY----- ``` ## Documentation Installation guide (seven languages) and technical reference: [warda-dns/warda-docs](https://gitea.tips-of-mine.com/warda-dns/warda-docs/src/tag/v0.7.11), tag `v0.7.11`.
